World Enough and Time: VSC article by former Wheels for Wheels Fellow Linda Cronin '09

Posted on June 3, 2010 by VSC

Linda Cronin, poetry alumna from September of 2009, recently published an article on her VSC residency experience. Cronin received a fellowship through VSC's Wheels for Wheels Fund, which thus far has provided fellowships for six artists and writers who use wheelchairs and/or have spinal cord injuries. This program began in 2006, when VSC’s founder Jon Gregg marked VSC’s 20th anniversary and his 60th birthday by riding his bicycle across country in a “Wheels for Wheels" fundraising challenge. The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation offered matching dollars to further inspire contributions to the program. This year, support from The Craig Neilsen Foundation will fund three additional artists and writers who have spinal cord injuries in summer of 2010.
