Fletcher Boote: Yoga Director

As both an accomplished visual artist and musician, Fletcher has always been drawn towards the creative and meditative aspects of deep looking and listening. Her classes emphasize chanting/kirtan as a direct link that jolts us in the depths of our soul and connects us to the sacred vibration that radiates from all of our hearts. She is committed to beginning every practice from a place of compassion and presence, believing wholeheartedly that in doing so, the reverberations of our practice will be all encompassing: at once personal, political, social, and spiritual; immediate and infinite.

Fletcher has been practicing yoga for over ten years. She has studied with some of the most respected teachers in the world and taught Yoga and chanting workshops in New York, London, and Italy. She is deeply grateful for the blessings and generous guidance of her beloved teachers, Sharon Gannon and David Life. Lady Ruth Lauer-Manenti in New York; Rosenclaire in Italy; Dr. M.A. Jayashree, Ranjini Koushak, and Sharath Jois at the Ashtanga Yoga Intstitute in Mysore, India.

She is a certified Jivamukti trained teacher.

Pat Brower

Pat Brower is a registered, certified Kripalu instructor. Her classes are gentle to moderate with an emphasis on building awareness. Pat was one of the very first Yoga teachers to teach in this space. She is extremely knowledgeable, and we feel honored and truly grateful for her continued dedication to her students of all ages and all levels. She is a gifted teacher, with the ability to make yoga accessible to anyone.

Pippa Dorfman

My first yoga teacher, Pam Britton, founder of Newbury Yoga, taught me the importance of balancing humor as well as the serious aspects underlying Asana practice (safety in alignment, breath control).  I have encountered many wonderful teachers who have contributed towards my teaching philosophy, which maintains primary focus on breath in coordination with movement so that we may cultivate balance and stay fully present throughout the physical practice of Yoga (asana).   I received my Yoga Teacher’s certification at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in 2005,  and I have also largely been influenced, by Astanga and Yin Yoga, as well as a conglomeration of styles taught from the many wonderful teachers I have had throughout my yogic journey.   I continue my studies in the Wellness & Alternative Medicine program at Johnson State College. My classes are eclectic in style, but grounded in slow cultivation of awareness through the connection between movement and breath. As a teacher, I am here to be a guide and a friendly reminder: to listen to what your body has to say, to challenge yourself but not go over the “edge”, and to realize that your body opens up over time, not all at once.
