Coffey’s work has recently been shown at Jerald Melberg Gallery in Charlotte, The New York Studio School, and The Isabel Ignacio Gallery in Seville, Spain, and Tibor De Nagy Gallery. Her work is included in several major collections, including The Museum of Contemporary Art, Seville, Spain; The Boston Museum of Fine Arts; and The Art Institute of Chicago. She is a Guggenheim Fellow and in 2008 she received an Honorary Doctorate from The Pennsylvania College of the Arts; in 1999, she was elected as Member of The National Academy of Art and Design; and she has received awards from the Academy of Arts and Letters, the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
