Susan Jane Walp (b. Allentown, PA, 1948) received a BA from Mount Holyoke and went on to study at the NY Studio School and Skowhegan. She also attended the MFA Program at Brooklyn College. Solo exhbitions include Hackett Freedman Gallery, San Francisco; Fischbach Gallery, NYC; ISA Gallery, Montecastello di Vibio, Italy; Victoria Munroe Fine Art, New York and Boston; and Tibor De Nagy Gallery, NYC, where she currently is represented. Awards include an NEA, a Skowhegan Purchase Prize, a CAPS Fellowship, and a Guggenheim Fellowship.

NARI WARD

Nari Ward (b. Jamaica, 1963) received a BA from Hunter College in 1991 and an MFA from Brooklyn College 1992. Exhibitions include two Whitney Biennials, Venice Biennale, and Documenta XI. Ward has also received commissions from the United Nations, and the World Health Organization, and has collaborated with Ralph Lemon, Bill T. Jones and Toni Morrison. Grants include American Academy of Arts and Letters, the National Endowment for the Arts,New York Foundation for the Arts, John Simon Guggenheim and Pollock Krasner Foundations. Ward currently lives in New York, and teaches at Hunter College.

Mary Hambleton's solo exhibitions include Littlejohn Contemporary Gallery, in NYC (where she is represented), Pamela Auchincloss Gallery, NYC, and Knoedler Gallery, London. Recent group exhibitions are numerous: The National Academy of Design, Brenda Taylor Gallery, The Painting Center, Robert Gilson Fine Arts, Robert Steele Gallery, and Max Protech. Articles and reviews of Hambleton’s paintings have been published in Art in America, Artforum, ARTnews, The Philadelphia Enquirer, and The Chicago Tribune.
