Stanley Lewis’s work has been exhibited at Bowery Gallery, New York; the National Academy of Design, New York; New York Studio School; Oxbow Gallery, Northampton; Watkins Gallery; Wright State; Virginia Tech, Logan Galleries; Kemper Gallery; Washburn University; University of Missouri; and KCAI Action Art Center in Kansas City. Lewis is a Guggenheim Fellow and the recipient of numerous other awards, including an Andrew Mellon Faculty Enrichment Grant. Lewis teaches drawing at the New York Studio School and has previously taught at American University and Kansas City Art Institute and has served as a guest lecturer/visiting artist at over thirty institutions. He is represented by the Lohin Geduld Gallery in NYC with a one man show running from October 13th through Nov. 13th, 2010.
