Rebecca Welz was born in Sausalito, CA. She is represented by June Kelly Gallery, NYC; Butters Gallery, Portland, Oregon; and Sculpturesite, San Francisco, CA. Recent exhibitions include the Hecksher Museum in Huntington, New York and a one person exhibition at Gallery 555, the Oakland Museum, Oakland, CA. Her work is included in many public and private collections.  Articles on her work can be found in “Art News”, “Art in America” and “Sculpture Magazine”. She currently lives in New York and teaches at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.
