Nayland Blake’s work is in the public collections of The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum, The Studio Museum of Harlem, Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the deYoung Museum. Exhibitions include Matthew Marks Gallery, New York; Gallery Paule Anglim, San Francisco; FRED, London; and Thread Waxing Space, New York. He is the chair of the ICP/Bard Masters program in Advanced Photographic Studies at the International Center of Photography. Blake was born in New York, and lives and works in Brooklyn.
