Musa Mayer is the author of four non-fiction books, including two memoirs, the first about her father, the painter Phlip Guston. As a breast cancer advocate, she has published numerous articles in magazines and scientific journals, and is the author of two respected websites that offer patient information for women and families living with metastatic disease. She is co-author of a web course on evidence-based healthcare, based at Johns Hopkins. Personal essay and memoir are a particular interest.
