Marjorie Portnow is a member of the National Academy of Design. Solo shows include Peter Rose Gallery and Fischbach Gallery in New York; Harcus-Krakow, Boston; and Contemporary Realist Gallery, San Francisco. Group exhibitions include the American Academy of Arts and Letters and Corcoran Gallery. Portnow’s work is included in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Boston Museum of Fine Art, and Middlebury College. She has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Ingram Merrill, Radcliffe (Bunting) Institute, and the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation.
