Leonid Lerman was born in 1953 in Odessa, USSR where he got his MFA from VI Mukhina College of Art & Design, Leningrad, USSR. He has since emigrated to the United States, and has shown at Riskin-Sinow Gallery, San Francisco; Sculpture Center, NY; Rochini Arte Contemporanea, Terni, Italy; Albright College Center for the Arts, Reading, PA; White Space Gallery, London and is currently represented by McKee Gallery, NY. Lerman has been reviewed in The Chronicle, The Spectator, The Arts Journal, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Art in America, and Modern Painters.
