Lee Tribe was born in London and currently lives and works in New York. He studied at the New York Studio School, Birmingham School of Art, and St. Martin's School of Art.  Some of Tribe’s solo exhibitions include Robert Steele Gallery, NY; J.J. Brookings, CA; Robert Morrison Gallery, NY; and Victoria Monroe Gallery, NY.  Selected exhibitions include Weatherspoon Art Gallery, NC; The Storm King Sculpture Center, NY; and Arts Council of Great Britain.  He is the recipient of a Pollock/Krasner Foundation Grant, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and an Ingram Merrill Sculpture Award.  Tribe has teaching experience at Chautauqua and Columbia University, and was the Department Head at Bennington College, VT, from 1985 - 1989.  View Lee Tribe’s work on his website:  www.leetribe.com
