Jessica J. Hutchins was born in 1971 in Chicago and lives and works in Portland, Oregon.  She received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  Hutchins’ work has been shown domestically, in Sweden and in England, and was included in the 2010 Whitney Biennial.  Her work is in various collections including the Museum of Modern Art, the Seattle Art Museum and the Brooklyn Museum.  Hutchins is represented by the Laurel Gitlen Gallery in New York and images of her work may be found on their website:  www.laurelgitlen.com
