Jenny George

Poet Jenny George is currently living in New Mexico and is the first recipient of the Kay Evans Poetry Fellowship at the Vermont Studio Center.  Created as a memorial award by the friends and family of long-time Maine resident Kay Evans, this award is intended to recognize and support a female poet of exceptional talent and promise by providing a month-long residency at VSC.  Jenny found the easy pace of life at VSC to be the perfect environment for working on her poems, and for finding the clarity of heart and intention that makes her best poems possible.
