Jene Highstein (b. 1942, Baltimore, MD) received a B.A. from the University of Maryland, and a Post-Graduate Degree from the Royal Academy in London. Highstein is represented by Michael Klein in NY. He has been a Visiting Artist at UCLA, Boston Museum School, Yale, and Emily Carr, in Vancouver. He has taught at the NY School of Visual Arts and NYU. Collections include the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Guggenheim, MOMA, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Walker Arts Center. He lives and works in NY.
