James Clark (b. 1948, Coatesville, PA) is a graduate of Penn State. Clark was awarded membership to the American Academy of Arts and Letters, a Pollock Krasner Grant, a Guggenheim Fellowship, two NEA Grants, and two NY State Grants. Exhibitions include Max Protetch Gallery, and Nicholas Davies Gallery, in NY, and the Seibu Gallery of Contemporary Art in Tokyo. He has been a Visiting Artist at Princeton, Brandeis, Brown, the School of Visual Arts, Pratt, Boston University, and Skowhegan. Clark lives and works in NY.
