Jackie Brookner received a BA from Wellesley College, and an MA & an ABD from Harvard. Exhibitions include the Centre d’Estudio d’Art Contemporanó, Barcelona; the McKissick Museum, Columbia, SC; the National Civil Rights Museum, Memphis; Pamela Auchincloss Gallery and Oscarsson-Hood Gallery, NY. She has done public art projects for the cities of West Palm Beach, Cincinnati, St. Louis, and Grossenhain, Germany and with the National Park Service, Pacific Northwest Division. Teaching experience has included Harvard Univ., The U. of Penn., the NY Studio School, and Bard College. Brookner is a professor at Parsons and lives in NY.
