Heide Fasnacht (b. 1951, Cleveland, OH) received a BFA from RISD and an MA from NYU. Represented by Kent Gallery in NYC and Galeria Trama in Spain, Fasnacht has also exhibited at the the Worcester Art Museum, Bernard Toale Gallery in Boston, RAMGalerie in Rotterdam, and the Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art. She has received numerous awards including a Pollock-Krasner Fellowship, an NEA Fellowship, and an Edward Albee Foundation Grant. Collections include the Brooklyn, Dallas, and Philadelphia museums, the Walker Art Center, and the Fogg Art Museum. Among others, Fasnacht has taught at UCLA, the Kansas City Art Institute, Tyler, Harvard, Princeton, and currently teaches at Parsons.
