Gregory Botts (b. 1952, Harrisburg, PA) studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and the School of Visual Arts. Solo exhibitions include Tony Shafrzi Gallery, Anne Plumb Gallery, and Art Resources Transfer, all in NY. Group shows include the National Academy; Salander-O’Reilly Gallery, NY; Rotunda Gallery, Brooklyn, and the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Collections include Denver Art Museum and Chase Manhattan Bank. The recipient of a Gottlieb grant, an American Academy of Arts and Letters award, and a residency at Joshua Tree, he is a member of the National Academy and lives and works in NY and New Mexico.
