Grace Knowlton (b. 1932, Buffalo, NY) received a BA from Smith College and an MA from Columbia. Her solo exhibitions include Hirschl & Adler Modern, the Neuberger Museum, John Davis Gallery (where she is currently represented), M-13 Gallery, Bill Bace Gallery, Witkin Gallery, Twining Gallery, and Susan Harder Gallery, all in NYC, the Smith College Museum of Art in Northampton, the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, and Gallery 291 in Atlanta. Her work is in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Storm King Sculpture Park, and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.
