George Pearlman

Executive Director

George received a BFA from Pratt Institute and a Masters of Arts from Brooklyn College, where he studied with the painter James Gahagan.  George has shown at Dartmouth College, 55 Mercer Gallery, Johnson State College, Maris College, and Cathrine Dianich Gallery.  He’s been a visiting artist at Dartmouth College, NY Studio School, and Boston University.  In 1994, he won the Vermont Arts Educator Award for starting the School Art and Culture Program at Johnson Elementary.  Prior to serving as VSC’s Executive Director, George served as its director of operations.
