Fees

The full fee for a 4 week residency is $3,750.

VSC Full Fellowships, open to all artists and writers, are awarded through a jury process three times a year on the basis of artistic merit and cover the full 4-week residency fee. VSC also offers a number of Special Fellowships with specific deadlines and eligibility criteria (Check the Special Fellowships section of the web site for more information on these opportunities).

VSC also offers partial assistance in the form of Grants and Work Exchange Aid that reduces Residency fees. Applications for these awards are accepted at any time.

Payment of the full residency fee is appreciated and allows the Studio Center to direct funding towards fellowship assistance for artists and writers who could not attend otherwise. If you would like to further assist with VSC's Fellowship Fund, you may check the Contributing Resident box on the application or visit our Support section.

Payment Policy:

VSC accepts payments in U.S. dollars by personal check, credit card, money order, or, with prior arrangement, through a VSC Deferred Payment Plan. International residents may make arrangements to pay through bank transfer.

Refund Policy:

Deposits and application fees are non-refundable. Other fees will be refunded only with 30 days prior written notice.
