Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers to help during office check-in from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on arrival Sundays. Volunteers help us greet the new residents, find their way to their rooms and studios, and field general questions about VSC and Vermont. After a shift, volunteers are invited to stay for the gallery reception with beverages and hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 p.m. and our opening night dinner at 6:00 p.m. This gives volunteers the opportunity to mingle and meet artists and writers from around the world. In exchange for their time, we also invite volunteers to join us for another dinner before a lecture or reading of their choice in the upcoming year. Staff-Residents

In exchange for a one-year commitment for work in the office, studios, kitchen and grounds, staff-resident artists and writers receive room, board, studio space, interaction with the Visiting Artists and Writers, and a stipend. VSC is pleased to have such talented and hard-working artists and writers helping to make the VSC community possible.
