Directors & Staff

Full time staff includes founders Louise von Weise and Jon Gregg, as well as long-time VSC staff members Executive Director George Pearlman, Program Director Kathy Black, Plant Director Jim MacDowell, Tara Thacker - all of whom are visual artists. Gary Clark, Director for Development and the Writing Program, is a poet. 

Much of the work at the Vermont Studio Center is done by staff residents. VSC is pleased to have such talented and hard-working artists and writers helping to make the VSC community possible. Please see Employment Opportunities for more information about openings at the Studio Center.
