Carrie Moyer’s recent solo and two-person exhibitions include shows at the American Univeristy Museum/Katzen Center for the Arts, Washington, D.C.; Momenta Art, Brooklyn; CANADA, New York City; and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco. Moyer has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including a Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant (2009), an Anonymous Was A Woman Award (2009), a New York State Council on the Arts Independent Artist Grant (2001), and a Creative Capital Foundation Grant (2000). Since 2007, she has been an Assistant Professor of Painting at Rhode Island School of Design, and she is Resident Faculty for Skowhegan School of Art for 2010. Moyer lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
