Andrew Ginzel (b. 1954, Chicago, IL) studied at Bennington College and SUNY. His work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including The Drawing Center, NY; Neuberger Museum at SUNY Purchase; Cynthia Broan Gallery; TZ' Art, and the American Academy of Art in Rome where he was a recipient of the Rome Prize. Additional honors include awards from the NEA, Pollock-Krasner Foundation, and Tiffany Foundation. Collections include the Brooklyn Museum, Centro per L'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Yves Klein Foundation, and the Wadsworth Atheneum. On faculty at the School of Visual Arts, he lives and works in NY.
