Alexander Theroux is the author of: Three Wogs, a triptych of comic novellas, An Adultery, and Darconville's Cat, which was a finalist for the National Book Award, as well as two collections of essays, Primary Colors and Secondary Colors. He has also published a collection of poems, The Lollipop Trollops and several books of fables. His work has appeared in Harper's, The Iowa Review, The New York Times, Esquire, and The Paris Review. He has taught at Harvard, MIT, Yale, and U. of Virginia. He lives in West Barnstable, MA.
