Roberto Juarez (b. 1952, Chicago, IL) did his graduate studies at UCLA, and received his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. Solo shows include the San Francisco Art Institute; the Museum of Contemporary Art, N. Miami; Galeria Juana de Aizpuru, Madrid; Mira Goddard Gallery, Toronto; Frederick Snitzer Gallery, Miami; Galeria Ramis Barquet, Monterrey, Mexico; Kemper Museum, Kansas City; David Floria Gallery, Aspen, CO, and he is currently represented by Charles Cowles Gallery in NYC. Awards include the Rome Prize, 1996-97. Collections include the Metropolitan Museum, the Newark Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, and the St. Louis Art Musuem.
