ArtistNene Humphrey

received her MA from Goddard College, her BA from St. Mary’s in Notre Dame, Indiana, and her MFA from York University, Toronto. Humphrey’s exhibitions include PS 1 Contemporary Art Center, the Sculpture Center, Dorsky Gallery Threadwaxing Space in in New York, Mead Museum, Amherst, the Ogden Museum, New Orleans; the High Museum in Atlanta and the Havana Biennial. Humphrey has received public commissions from Creative Time, NY., Artpark in Lewiston, NY; Ward’s Island in NY, and is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian, among others. Extensive teaching and visiting artist experience includes RISD, the Mass. College of Art, Parsons, Princeton and Middlebury.
