(b. 1955) received a BFA from the Maryland Institute, and an MA from NYU. He also studied at the NY Studio School. He is represented by Brent Sikkema Gallery, NY, and has shown throughout the country. His work is in the collections of the Metropolitan, the MFA in Boston, and the Walker Arts Center. He is a Guggenheim Fellow. Humphrey is currently an instructor in the MFA program at RISD. He lives and works in New York.
