Charles Garabedian (b. 1923, Detroit, MI) received an M.A. from UCLA and a B.A. from the U. of Southern California. Garabedian shows at Betty Cunningham in NYC and his exhibitions include the Rose Art Museum, Hirschl & Adler Modern, and the Whitney in NY, L.A. Louver Gallery in California, and Gallery Paule Anglim in San Francisco. His awards include an NEA Grant and a Guggenheim Fellowship. He has taught extensively including Cooper Union, Skowhegan, UCLA, Colorado College, and College of Creative Studies. Garabedian lives and works in Santa Monica, CA.
